  • Why are Zink Mineral Cosmetics Foundations so beneficial for all complexions especially those with rosacea and pigmentation?

    The coverage of our pure mineral powders is light but complete. By beginning to apply in thin layers you have control of the amount of coverage you want on darker areas. This is easily done by going over these areas two or more times until you are satisfied with the cover. You will still find that your face has that barely-there look and there is no noticeable line around the jaw and neckline. And because we don’t have any irritating or harsh ingredients in our powders, you will not have a harmful reaction.

  • Why do I need special brushes to apply mineral cosmetics?

    The technique involved in using a kabuki or face brush applies the powder onto the skin in light, even layers and sits on the surface until rubbed off. We have heard of people using applicators they already had in their cosmetic bag, and the powder has not adhered to the skin as it should. They have been disappointed with the result they achieved, when the correct brush would have given them a flawless finish.   • I have always suffered with acne. How can you help me?

    Zink Mineral Cosmetics powders are exactly what a person with acne needs. Our cosmetics are non-comedogenic, which means they do not clog the pores, they sit on the surface of the skin lightly and do not interact with the oil in your skin. They are also non-irritating and anti-inflammatory.

  • I have dark skin pigmentation on my face. How can I cover it?

    If the pigmentation is quite dark and not easily covered by several layers of our foundation powder, you can lightly spritz your face with water and repeat your application till you are satisfied with the finish. You will still feel light and barely-there.

  • I have just started using mineral foundation and my skin feels prickly for a while afterwards. Am I allergic and should I stop using it?

    You may be using too much pressure on the kabuki and pushing against your skin. Lighten your strokes and go lightly over your face several times, gently going around the jawline, around the forehead, down to the cheeks and chin, and nose, and repeat till you are satisfied.

  • How do I make the right shape with my eye shadow? I’m not sure how to do my eyes to look like the photos I see in magazines.

    Read our Applications tips and Styles Lab, and experiment. Apply your eye shadow with your base shade first, continuing up to the eyebrow. Then, with your eye open, apply the darker shade around the edge of your eye socket and in the far corner of your eye to give you depth.
